Michael Aiello is an Associate in the Firm's Insurance and Reinsurance Services Group.

Michael concentrates his practice on the handling of complex insurance coverage matters principally on behalf of insurance companies. He has experience litigating coverage in both New Jersey and New York state and federal courts. Michael’s practice focuses on a wide array of coverage issues, including a diverse mix of areas such as environmental issues, construction defects, workers' compensation issues, and allegations of sexual abuse. Michael also reviews and analyzes coverage issues as requested by clients.

Prior to joining Coughlin Duffy, Michael was an Associate at a mid-sized regional litigation firm, primarily handing insurance defense matters. Additionally, Michael has served as an Adjunct Professor of Sports Law at Long Island University – Brooklyn since 2015, developing course and lecture materials for the Sports Law course offered to undergraduate Athletic Training, Health and Exercise Science majors.
