Linda Engleby is Of Counsel in the Firm's Estate, Trust, Taxation, Elder Law & Guardianships Group.

Linda concentrates her practice in estate planning and trust and estate administration. Her counseling includes the design of sophisticated tax sensitive documents, which also recognize the importance of family and business relationships in the lives of her clients. Linda advises clients on the many complex tax issues and intrafamily concerns involved in the transfer of wealth from one generation to the next, and establishes creative, personally tailored plans for each of her clients.

In addition, Linda counsels clients on all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate, the preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns, and judicial and nonjudicial accountings.

Linda counsels clients on the resolution of family disputes regarding the interpretation of wills and trusts and the dispersion of family assets in adversarial settings. She represents family members in estate and trust litigation matters. She also counsels corporate and individual executors and trustees on their fiduciary responsibilities. 

Linda represents individuals seeking guardianship for alleged incapacitated persons. She has also served as court appointed guardian or guardian ad litem in numerous instances.

Community Service

Linda is a volunteer for El Hogar, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a home and education for children, enabling them to fulfill their ultimate potential as productive and caring citizens of Honduras.

Linda also serves on the Vestry of St. Bernard's Episcopal Church in Bernardsville, NJ.
