Hannah Bartges is an Associate in the Firm's Commercial Services Group / Environmental Law Practice.

Hannah concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate and business transactions, and environmental litigation. Hannah assists in the representation of a wide variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to sole proprietorships and individual clients in both complex litigation and transactional matters.

Prior to joining Coughlin Duffy, Hannah was an Assistant Corporation Counsel in Jersey City’s Law Department where she routinely handled complex issues concerning federal, state, and municipal laws, including the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and New Jersey’s Spill Act. From 2017 to 2018, Hannah served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John M. Deitch, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Union County, Criminal Division.

During law school, Hannah interned for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environmental and Natural Resources Division, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 2, and the Center for Biological Diversity. She also participated in Pace’s Environmental Litigation Clinic where she represented public interest environmental groups in federal and state courts over violations pursuant to the Clean Water Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.
